September Updates

Greetings, New York FBLA!

September was a productive month filled with opportunities to continue working on my goals as State Treasurer. Throughout the month, I focused on financial literacy, Program of Work outreach, sponsorship efforts, and increasing member engagement across New York FBLA.

I continued developing my financial literacy initiative by creating another financial literacy social media post and working with the District 3S State Vice President to plan a financial literacy workshop for the Fall District Meeting. I also began creating materials for the workshop that will provide members with practical financial literacy skills and information they can use in their everyday lives.

I continued working with the Membership and Sponsorship Committees on outreach efforts and ways to better support members and chapters. Through the Membership Committee, I helped promote the Program of Work and Early Bird initiatives. I also worked with the Sponsorship Committee to discuss potential sponsors, outreach plans, and ways to strengthen partnerships for New York FBLA.

This month, I also attended the State Officer Summit and continued collaborating with the State

Officer Team on upcoming initiatives. Additionally, I was selected to serve as an Executive Assistant for the National Treasurer’s Executive Council. I am excited to take on this new opportunity, work with FBLA members at the national level, and bring what I learn back to my role as New York State Treasurer.

Greetings, New York FBLA!

August was another exciting and productive month as the State Officer Team continued 

preparing for the year ahead. Throughout the month, I had the opportunity to collaborate with 

fellow officers and committee members on projects focused on membership engagement, 

sponsorships, and financial literacy.

One of my main focuses this month was helping prepare for the promotion of our Program of 

Work. I worked with the State Officer Team to brainstorm outreach ideas and create a social 

media timeline to help introduce and promote our initiatives to members across the state.

I also continued working toward my goals as State Treasurer by drafting my first financial 

literacy social media post and speaking with the District 3S State Vice President about the 

possibility of hosting a financial literacy workshop at the Fall District Meeting. I am excited to 

continue finding ways to provide members with practical financial knowledge throughout the 

year.

Additionally, I worked with the Sponsorship Committee to develop a list of potential sponsors 

and edit our sponsorship outreach email template as we prepare to connect with organizations 

that may be interested in supporting New York FBLA.
