Kiah Mehta
Hello New York State FBLA,
My name is Kiah Mehta and it is my privilege to hold the position of New York
State FBLA District 3N State Vice President for the 2026–2027 year. As a rising
sophomore at Monroe-Woodbury High School, FBLA has become one of the most
significant aspects of my high school life.
I was eager to learn more about business, leadership, and competitions when I
initially joined FBLA last year and I had no idea how much FBLA would influence
my freshman year of high school. I gained confidence, developed my leadership
abilities, and made amazing friends that I will always be thankful for through chapter
meetings, conferences, and competitive events. As I got more active, I realized that I
wanted to contribute to giving others the same chances. I was inspired by that passion
and it inspired me to run for District 3N State Vice President. I am incredibly grateful
for the opportunity to serve you this year.
My objective as District 3N State Vice President is to make each member feel
accepted, encouraged, and motivated to participate. My goals are to improve
chapter-to-chapter communication, boost attendance at conferences and competitions,
and inspire members to take up leadership roles and push themselves beyond their
comfort zones. Additionally, I want to support the growth and development of FBLA
chapters around the district while maintaining an atmosphere where each member
feels appreciated and inspired to reach their objectives.
I continue to be actively involved both inside and outside of FBLA. As the
Executive Vice President of the Model UN club at my school, I have worked with
others to address global concerns while honing my leadership, public speaking, and
teamwork abilities. Outside of school, I work a part-time job, which has taught me
responsibility, time management, and the importance of providing excellent customer
service. I also enjoy volunteering in my community whenever I can, giving back
through service and helping others.
I am looking forward to working alongside the State Officer Team, chapter
advisors, and members across New York this year. It is truly an honor to represent
District 3N, and I am committed to making this a year filled with growth, opportunity,
and success for every member. Together, I know we can make this a great year for
New York State FBLA!
