District 3S

  Zoe Zaumeyer

Hello New York State FBLA! My name is Zoe Zaumeyer, and I am so excited to be serving as your district 3S State Vice President for the 2026-2027 year! I am a rising junior at Mamaroneck High School and I have currently been involved in FBLA for two years.

I joined FBLA as a freshman because of its popularity at my school and my intrigue in the business world. I quickly realized the amount of enjoyment and opportunity that I could find in FBLA and became as involved as possible. I have worked on State Councils for Program of Work and acted as my chapter’s Chair for the Committee of Career and College readiness for two years. I served as the District 3S Social Media Officer for 2025-2026 and represented my chapter and New York State as a voting delegate at the state and national level. I have competed at multiple State Leadership Conferences placing for my chapter in the Local Chapter Annual Business Report, Introduction to FBLA Creed Speaking, and Introduction to Social Media Strategy. I have also taken some of these competitions to the FBLA National Leadership Conference. Throughout these achievements, I have learned so much about leadership and business and I am excited to serve my district and continue my journey of leadership this year as District 3S SVP.

Outside of FBLA, I am involved in multiple extracurriculars and academic activities. I am a competitive swimmer and athlete on my school’s varsity swimming and golf teams. I am a student in the Original Science Research program at my high school with a focus on Astronomy and Astrobiology. I participate in the ACEGNY Engineering program where I collaborate with a team to simulate a construction project and create a viable business proposal using engineering and market knowledge. I enjoy learning and researching problems to reach new solutions and I am always working to become a stronger leader.

For this upcoming year I want to help members with their networking skills and provide more recognition for outstanding achievements. I believe that communication is an essential skill and I want to help build connections across our district by holding networking events at conferences. This will give allotted time for members to interact with each other and learn professional communication. I also plan to have a series of monthly member spotlights on the district social media page this year. Members or advisors will be able to nominate whoever they think deserves recognition for that month and a post will be made detailing their contributions to FBLA.

I want to help all members in district 3S achieve and learn more from their FBLA experience and I am so excited to work with the State Officer team to make that impact as the 2026-2027 NYS FBLA State Vice President for District 3S!
