Hello New York State FBLA!

Now that summer has come to an end, I hope you’re ready for the new school year!

The Welcome Back Edition of The FBLA Express is now available for you to view and enjoy! 

Be sure to check it out for updates and information for this new membership year. Take a look at 

the articles inside: a look into our Program of Work for this year, our new SLC location, our 

State Charity, and so much more!

Whatever exciting things your chapter has planned, be sure to submit photos and articles so that 

they can be included in each edition of our newsletter. If you would like your chapter to be 

represented in the Fall Edition of The FBLA Express, please submit articles and photos to

July Updates

Hello New York State FBLA! My name is Rebecca Hoang and I am extremely excited to serve as your State Reporter for the 2026-2027 State Officer Team. I am a rising senior at T. R. Proctor High School in Utica, and I have been involved in FBLA since my freshman year in high school. Through growing my chapter and attending conferences, it has become one of the most fulfilling experiences during my time in high school.

State Officer Training held in Greenwich, New York was a busy, yet fun and productive week for the State Officer team. Learning parliamentary procedure, attending fun workshops, and creating the Program of Work with the officer team was an experience I’ll never forget!

As your State Reporter, I will be publishing four issues of The FBLA Express – our state’s quarterly newsletter that will contain valuable information and district reports! My goal for this year is to make The FBLA Express a resource that members genuinely look forward to reading by highlighting member achievement and opportunities to stay involved.

I will be sending emails periodically asking for articles and photos to include in each edition of our newsletter so that members can let New York know what their chapter has done. If you would like your chapter to be represented in the Fall Edition of The FBLA Express, please submit articles and photos to reporter@nysfbla.org by October 15, 2026.
