Moksh Gupta Updates
Hello District 12 FBLA!
Welcome back to school. I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for a new year of
FBLA. With the membership year officially underway, this is a great time to get involved, set
goals for your chapter, and encourage your friends to join FBLA. Whether you’re a returning
member or brand new to FBLA, there are so many opportunities to learn, compete, and make
new connections this year.
I’m also excited to announce that this year’s NYS FBLA State Charity is the American Red
Cross. I encourage everyone to look for ways to support our State Charity throughout the year
and participate in the opportunities that NYS FBLA and our district will provide.
Our First District Meeting (FDM) is coming up on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Williamsville
East High School! We have been working hard to put together an exciting day with workshops,
activities, networking opportunities, and a keynote speaker. I can’t wait to meet many of you in
person and kick off the year together. Be sure to keep an eye out for more information from your
chapter adviser as we get closer to the meeting.
Looking ahead, our Second District Meeting (SDM) is also planning to be held at Williamsville
East High School on January 16, 2027. More information about SDM will be shared as we get
closer, but I hope to see everyone there as well!
As we begin a new school year, I encourage every member to take advantage of everything
FBLA has to offer. Get involved in your chapter, participate in our Program of Work, and don’t
be afraid to try something new. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and making this
a great year for District 12!
If you ever have any questions, ideas, or just want to say hi, feel free to reach out to me at

school year, and I’ll see you at FDM!
July updates
Hello NYS FBLA! My name is Moksh Gupta, and I’m honored to serve as your 2026-2027 District 12 State Vice President. I’m a rising senior at Williamsville East High School, and this is my fourth year in FBLA. When I first joined as a freshman, I never imagined it would lead to chapter leadership, national competitions, and now the opportunity to represent District 12 as a State Officer. FBLA has helped me grow as both a leader and a person, and I’m excited to help make this an amazing year for all of our members.
This July, I had the opportunity to attend State Officer Training in Greenwich, where the State Officer Team spent the week preparing for the year ahead. We worked together to create our POW challenges for our committee, select our State Charity, develop fundraising ideas, and plan new ways to engage members across New York. It was a busy week, but it was also an incredible experience that made me even more excited for everything we’ll accomplish this year. I’m especially looking forward to working with the chapters in District 12. Our Fall District Meeting and our Spring District Meeting are both being hosted at Williamsville East High School. I hope to see all of you there for a day of learning, networking, and connecting with fellow FBLA members.
As we head into the new school year, I encourage every chapter to recruit new members, participate in our POW challenges, and take advantage of all the opportunities FBLA has to offer. Whether you’re a first-year member or preparing for your final year, there’s always something new to learn and ways to get involved.
If you ever have any questions, ideas, or just want to connect, feel free to reach out to me at svp12@nysfbla.orgor on Instagram @moksh.nysfbla. I can’t wait to work with all of you and make this an incredible year for District 12 and NYS FBLA!
