September Updates
Hello District 3N!
September has been a very busy month as we officially get into the new school year and get closer to our First District Meeting! This month, I have been working closely with Mrs. P. to prepare for FDM and our upcoming programs. I have been working on presentations for my workshops and helping make sure everything is coming together for the meeting. I have also been communicating with Senator James Skoufis throughout the month, and I am excited to share that he has officially been confirmed as our keynote speaker for FDM! I am really looking forward to having him speak to our members and being able to hear from someone who can share his experiences and connect with our district.
I have been working to make sure everyone has the information they need as we get closer to the meeting and that members have opportunities to get involved. There has been a lot of preparation going on behind the scenes, and I am excited to see all of our hard work come together at FDM!
Outside of FBLA, September has also been a busy month for me. I have continued working at my job, and with Wally’s closing for the season in about two weeks, I have been preparing for the end of the season. I have also been preparing for my upcoming PSAT while keeping up with my schoolwork and everything else going on.
As we head into October, I am really excited for our First District Meeting and everything we have planned for District 3N! I cannot wait to see everyone at FDM, meet more members, and continue working to make this a great year for our district. Hello District 3N!
August has been a busy month as we get closer to the start of another exciting FBLA year! While
summer is coming to an end, I have been spending the month preparing for everything that is
ahead for District 3N. I have been working on finalizing our keynote speaker for our Fall District
Meeting and am really excited about the possibility of bringing someone who can motivate,
inspire, and connect with our members. There are a lot of details that go into planning an event,
and I am excited to see everything come together and hopefully create a great experience for
everyone attending.
Outside of FBLA, August has also been a busy month for me. I have been working at my job,
getting ready for the new school year, and recently went back-to-school shopping. I have also
been working on my Science Research summer assignment, which has kept me busy with
researching and exploring different topics.
As we head into September, I am excited to officially begin the new school year and an amazing
year of FBLA! I cannot wait to meet more members, attend our Fall District Meeting, and
continue working to make this a memorable year for District 3N. There is so much to look

Hello District 3N!
My name is Kiah Mehta, and I’m honored to serve as your new District State Vice President. I’m a rising sophomore at Monroe-Woodbury High School, and I am incredibly excited to represent our district and work alongside all of you throughout the coming year.
This July, I had the privilege of attending New York FBLA State Officer Training in Greenwich, New York. Throughout the week, our state officer team participated in leadership workshops, officer meetings, team-building activities, and collaborative planning sessions to prepare for the year ahead. We created goals that will help us better serve our members across New York State. The experience gave me a greater understanding of what it means to lead with professionalism, integrity, and purpose.
As District 3N State Vice President my goal is to help every chapter feel connected, supported, and inspired to grow. I hope to increase participation at district events, encourage members to take advantage of FBLA’s competitive events and leadership opportunities, and help chapters strengthen their membership and involvement throughout the year. I also look forward to visiting chapters, celebrating member accomplishments, and building relationships with students across our district.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve District 3N. I cannot wait to see everything we accomplish together this year. Let’s make 2026–2027 a year filled with leadership, service, growth, and success. I look forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming district events!
