Addeleide Reynolds Updates
Wow, this summer went by in a flash! Before we pack our bags and head off to school, here is a
quick recap of what we have been up to this month and what exciting opportunities are lying
ahead. As the new school year rapidly approaches, it is time to reset our focus and gear up for
an action-packed year with New York State FBLA.
Your State Officer Team has been working behind the scenes to make this upcoming year
unforgettable. This month, we officially hosted our very first State Officer Monthly Conference
Call of the term to discuss strategic goals and outline upcoming statewide initiatives. A major
highlight of our recent work has been brainstorming, designing, and scheduling engaging social
media content for the upcoming months to keep members connected and inspired all year long.
Looking ahead, we strongly encourage every chapter to hit the ground running with member
recruitment! Reach out to new students, host local events, and share the leadership
opportunities FBLA provides. Additionally, make sure to keep an eye out for official Fall District
Meeting (FDM) updates as the season approaches. Now is the perfect time to prep for
competitive events, plan workshops, and connect with neighboring chapters before the first few
weeks of school wrap up!
July 2026
Hello New York State FBLA! My name is Addeleide Reynolds, and I am beyond thrilled to serve
as your State Secretary for the 2026–2027 State Officer Team. I am a rising sophomore at
Clymer Central School and a part of District 13. Before diving into what this past month has
brought, I’d love to share a little bit about myself! I am passionate about music and play three
instruments: the guitar, piano, and flute. My music taste spans rock bands like Chevelle, Linkin
Park, Soundgarden, and The Offspring, as well as pop artists like Dominic Fike and Chase
Atlantic. Outside of music, I love filmmaking, photography, writing, and exploring all forms of
art.
This month has proven to be quite busy! Between attending State Officer Training in
Greenwich, New York, planning a multitude of local chapter activities, and prepping for the
2026–2027 FBLA year, our team has been hard at work. While at State Officer Training, the
State Officer Team produced this Program of Work and selected our state charity: The
American Red Cross.
I know that our hard work at State Officer Training will pay off so every member can have an
amazing FBLA experience. I encourage everyone to maintain their membership and help recruit
new members! FBLA is an incredible organization to be a part of, setting us up for future career
success. I also highly encourage everyone to participate in this year’s Program of Work—the
activities are both fun and rewarding. If you have any questions or simply want to say hello, feel
