Aaminah Khondker Updates
Hello, New York FBLA!
I hope everyone has had an amazing summer! As August comes to an end, I have
been busy preparing for what is already shaping up to be an exciting year for District 1N
and New York FBLA.
One of my main focuses this month has been beginning preparations for our First
District Meeting. I have been working on plans for workshops, activities, and
opportunities that will allow members to learn, connect, and get more involved in FBLA.
I cannot wait to share more details with District 1N as our plans come together!
I have also continued my work as the Career Development Committee Council
Director. Our committee is developing initiatives and social media ideas that will give
members opportunities to strengthen their professional skills, explore careers, and
prepare for their futures.
With the school year right around the corner, I encourage everyone to start
thinking about what they want to accomplish through FBLA this year. Whether this is
your first year or you are a returning member, there are so many ways to get involved,
challenge yourself, and make new connections.
If you have any questions, ideas, or just want to connect, please feel free to email
me at svp1n@nysfbla.org or send me a message on Instagram @aaminah_nysfbla. I
would love to hear from you and support you however I can.
Enjoy the last bits of summer New York FBLA and looking forward to this
upcoming year!
July 2026
Hello, New York FBLA!
My name is Aaminah Khondker, and I’m honored to serve as the District 1N State Vice President for the 2026-2027 membership year.
This past month, I attended State Officer Training with an incredible group of student leaders from across New York. During the week, we participated in leadership workshops, planned for the year ahead, and selected the American Red Cross as New York FBLA’s official state charity.
I am also excited to serve as the Career Development Committee Council Director. In this role, I will help guide the development of initiatives that support career readiness and give members opportunities to build valuable skills for the future. Some of my favorite moments from training came from getting to know the people I will be serving alongside this year. Whether we were gathered around during breakfast or working late nights, those experiences helped us build stronger connections as a team.
As District 1N Vice President, I am excited to support chapters, strengthen communication, and help members make the most of their FBLA experience. I look forward to meeting many of you and seeing everything we accomplish together this year.
If you ever have any questions, ideas, or just want to connect, please feel free to reach out! You can email me at svp1n@nysfbla.org or send me a message on Instagram @aaminah_nysfbla. I would love to hear from you and support you however I can. Here’s to an amazing year, New York State FBLA!
