March Update
Happy March Everyone!
We’re officially in SLC season! March brought a lot of preparation and collaboration behind the scenes as members got ready to compete, attend workshops, and represent their chapters at the state level.
This month, I worked alongside the Community Outreach and Engagement to continue building momentum around our Program of Work. We held productive meetings and made progress on upcoming challenges and outreach efforts—especially through our social media channels.
On the chapter side, I stayed busy helping run weekly meetings and assisting members as they practiced presentations, polished their events, and reviewed what to expect at SLC.
March also meant it was time to submit monthly officer materials. I wrapped up my March correspondence, website update, and evaluation packet to help track our district’s efforts and keep communication strong.
As we head into April, I’m looking forward to seeing District 3N shine at the State Leadership Conference. I’m so proud of all the effort that’s gone into this year—we’re almost there!
February Update
Happy February everyone!
I hope the start of your year has been as good as mine! This past month, your District Officers and I have worked hard to ensure that we set you up for success in the coming months of the membership year. Please keep a look out in your emails and on these updates to make sure you don’t miss anything coming up for our district!
Our Spring District Meeting was held on January 8, 2026 at Monroe-Woodbury High school, and I cannot extend my gratitude to you enough! Thank you all for participating in our competitions and having fun with them, and congratulations to all the winners of the competitive events, and coin challenges. I am very glad to have you all in my district and can’t wait to reconnect at SLC!
Over the next few months, I will be more active on social media such as SDM, testing, and POW deadlines approach, so make sure to follow me at @sanjita_fbla. Again, if you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at svp3n@nysfbla.org. I will reach back out as soon as I can.
January Update
Happy New Year, District 3N!
I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are starting 2026 feeling refreshed and motivated. As we head into the new year, I wish everyone continued success in their events, leadership roles, and chapter goals.
Your State Officer Team is kicking off the year by coming together for the first time since July at our January Joint Meeting (JJM) in Rochester. We are excited to reconnect, collaborate, and finalize our plans for the 2026 NYS FBLA State Leadership Conference, and we can’t wait to make this year an unforgettable one.
SDM is right around the corner on January 8, 2026, at Monroe-Woodbury High School, so now is the time to start studying and practicing for your competitive events. Be sure to stay on track with your Programs of Work and continue representing your chapters with dedication and pride as we move into this exciting season.
December Update
Hello District 3N FBLA! I am so excited about the upcoming winter season. FBLA has a ton of events planned for the upcoming year 2026 so make sure you don’t miss anything by checking the nysfbla.org
website.
Our Spring District Meeting is January 8, 2026, which means you have 1 month left to prepare for your tests! I encourage you to study and practice heavily over the next month to ensure that you can compete at the State Leadership Conference. A helpful tip I recommend is holding more than one meeting a week in your chapter to divide the workload more effectively. We
want to crush it at SLC, and starting early is key!
Over the next few months, I will be more active on social media such as SDM, testing, and POW deadlines approach. All the tips, tricks, and resources you need will be in the palm of your hand. I encourage all chapters and members to inform themselves and participate in each challenge. With so many great prizes available, participating in the Program of Work is truly worth it. Also, I hope we can increase District 3N’s presence on the State leadership level. Make sure you are registering to become a State Officer or part of the State Councils for the Program of Work. They are such great opportunities to get involved!
Finally, to stay updated on all District 3N’s activities, make sure to check out our District 3N’s Fall Newsletter, our District 3n Instagram page sanjita_fbla and monthly updates on the NYS FBLA website. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at svp3n@nysfbla.org!

August Update
Hello District, 3N!
My name is Sanjita Raja, and I’m honored to serve as your new District State Vice President. I’m a rising senior at Monroe-Woodbury High School, and I’m so excited to get to know all of you throughout the year!
This July, our State Officer Training (SOT) took place in Greenwich, New York, setting the foundation for an incredible year ahead. Over the course of the week, we not only developed as leaders but also strengthened our ability to serve New York State FBLA with professionalism and purpose. Through our dedication and collaboration, we ensured that NYS FBLA will be strongly represented throughout the year. Some of the key projects we focused on included proposing our State Charity—the Ronald McDonald House Charities—developing our Program of Work and outlining meaningful ways we can best support our members. After an insightful and productive week, I’m confident that our State Officer team is ready to lead and serve you with passion and excellence throughout this FBLA year.
As your SVP, my goal is to expand and strengthen FBLA throughout District 3N. I hope to increase participation at our Fall District Meeting and Spring District Meeting, add more chapters across the region, and help more students discover the value of FBLA. I also hope to see increased involvement from our district at the State Leadership Conference! If you have any questions or comments, you can reach me at svp3n@nysfbla.org or reach out to me via Instagram at sanjita_fbla. Let’s make this an unforgettable year for District 3N. I can’t wait to work with all of you!
