March Update
Hello NYS FBLA!

February brought us a lot of snow, I hope all of you stayed warm and maybe a little fun too!

This previous month, I was happy to meet with District 3S members at Mamaroneck High School for our Spring District Meeting. It was amazing to see so many FBLA members engaged and competing. I cannot wait until April for the State Leadership Conference.

Please reach out if you have any questions for me or on anything FBLA related. Reach out to me via email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

February Update
Happy New Year NYS FBLA!

January has been a very busy month for me, and I am sure it has been the same for you as well. It was tough getting back in the swing of things after the holiday break, but we did it!

This previous month, I met with my fellow State Officers in Rochester for the January Joint Meeting. There, we planned for the State Leadership Conference. I am really excited for the workshops we planned for SLC. We have a great mix of interactive, fun, and educational workshops that I think you guys will enjoy!

Please reach out if you have any questions for me or on anything FBLA related. Reach out to me via email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

January Update
Happy Holidays NYS FBLA!

I hope everyone has enjoyed December and the snow, I know I have!

As everyone gets ready for the new year and starts to create new year resolutions, I would like to give one piece of advice. Think back on your last year within FBLA, school, see where you did well and where you want to grow. And then look forward to this next year and set your sights on ambitious goals.

I would like to extend the offer to all of you to reach out if you have any questions for me or on anything FBLA related. Please reach out to me via email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

December Update
Happy Thanksgiving NYS FBLA!  I hope everyone has enjoyed November along with the onset of colder weather. I know I have had to pull out my winter coat from my closet these last few weeks.

I know everyone is working hard in school and as we come closer to the halfway mark and seem to get lost in our schoolwork, I would urge you all to try and continue to get involved with your FBLA chapter. I would suggest looking into completing one of the Program of Works. There are some super cool challenges you can do that will teach you a lot of different skills.

This is the season of being thankful and giving back and so I would like to extend the offer to all of you to reach out if you have any questions for me or on anything FBLA related. Please reach out to me via email,  parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

November Update
Hello NYS FBLA, I hope October has treated everyone well, I know I have enjoyed the start of the NHL season.

I had a great time at District 3S’s Fall District Meeting. It was a pleasure meeting dozens of students from across my district and even from New York City! I am also happy to see new chapters engaging with FBLA and meeting first time members as well! I look forward to seeing everyone again later in the school year at the Spring District Meeting.

I am always happy to answer questions, give advice, or chat about FBLA. Please reach out to me over email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

October Update
Hello NYS FBLA! I hope everyone has had a great start to yet another school year! I still can’t believe that I am finally a senior and will be moving onto college next year!

Here in Westchester, the leaves are only beginning to change, and we have gotten a healthy mix of both Summer and Fall weather.

One of my highlights this month was getting to check back in with my FBLA advisor who I hadn’t seen since July, and I am really looking forward to this next year with FBLA!

I encourage you all to get involved and achieve your goals with FBLA this year!

I am always happy to answer questions, give advice, or chat about FBLA. Please reach out to me over email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or on Instagram @skyefbla.

September Update
How is it going New York State FBLA?

August has been a relaxing month for me, and I hope all of you hve been able to recharge and are long forward to the start of the school year.

I’ve had several virtual meetings with some of my fellow State Officers, and we are excited to be planning some cool stuff for  NYS FBLA in the upcoming year!

One of my goals this year is to educate members on parliamentary procedure through social media, and I am currently brainstorming different ideas and topics to cover. If any of you have an idea or question, please reach out and I would be happy to make a post on it! Reach out to me over email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or Instagram @skyefbla.

August Update
New York State FBLA I am back!

The month of July has been a whirlwind of a month. I started off in Anaheim for the National Leadership Conference and had an absolute blast. Only two weeks later, I was in Greenwich for State Officer Training. I deeply enjoyed getting to know the new Officer Team for this upcoming year and I am so excited to work with this wonderful group of leaders for the upcoming year!

I’m aiming to make this year one to remember for NYS FBLA and I know with this amazing team behind me along with our two advisers, Mr. J and Ms. Johnson, we can do it!

Keep an eye out on my FBLA insta @skyefbla for some parli pro tips and please reach out to me over email, parliamentarian@nysfbla.org, or Instagram.
