Behind the scenes, the state officer team has continued working to finalize details and ensure SLC is organized, engaging, and meaningful for every member attending.
Even during break, our focus has remained on collaboration, communication, and preparation. As we move into March, excitement for SLC is building, and we are looking forward to bringing together members from across the state for an impactful conference experience.
As always, continue checking your emails and following @newyorkfbla on Instagram for
important reminders and updates. We are getting closer to conference season, and there is so much to look forward to.
I cannot wait to see many of you at SLC. Let’s finish the winter strong and head into spring ready to lead.
February Update
Greetings New York State FBLA!
January has been an exciting and productive month as we kicked off the new year and continued preparing for the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC). One of the highlights of this month was JJM in Rochester, where the state officer team came together in person to collaborate, plan, and build momentum for the months ahead.
During JJM, we spent time working as a team to plan SLC and make sure everything is coming together to create an engaging and meaningful experience for all members. Being together in person allowed us to share ideas, strengthen our teamwork, and focus on how we can best support you as we move closer to conference season.
As we head into the rest of the winter, I encourage everyone to stay involved, keep an eye on important updates, and continue participating in our Program of Work and upcoming initiatives. Be sure to follow @newyorkfbla on Instagram for reminders, resources, and behind-the-scenes highlights from across the state.
I’m looking forward to an exciting few months ahead and cannot wait to see many of you at SLC. Let’s keep the energy going and make the most of everything FBLA has to offer!

December has been a meaningful and steady month as we head toward the end of the calendar year. With the holidays and end-of-semester responsibilities, this month has been about staying connected, keeping momentum going, and making sure members feel supported as we move closer to important deadlines.
I’ve continued staying in touch with our officer team through regular check-ins and remained active on Instagram to share updates, reminders, and highlights from across the state. Social media has been an important way to keep everyone informed and engaged, especially as schedules get busier this time of year.
Another key focus in December has been continuing to promote our Program of Work (POW). I’ve been sharing reminders, answering questions, and encouraging chapters to stay involved and finish strong. It’s been great to see ongoing participation and enthusiasm, even during a busy season.
As we wrap up the year, I want to thank all of you for your dedication and involvement. I’m excited to head into the new year with renewed energy and continue building participation, connection, and impact across New York State FBLA.
