January Update
Greetings FBLA District 3S Members, I am pleased to share a brief update on the recent developments that have gone on this month and what is to come in the future!

All NYS FBLA officers reunited at our annual January Joint Meeting (JJM), where we plan for the upcoming State Leadership Conference (SLC). During JJM, we accomplished a multitude of tasks essential for SLC’s success. From completing goose chase challenges to finalizing the dance theme and planning engaging events for the first night, our collaborative efforts were aimed at making SLC an unforgettable experience for all of you! We meticulously designed ribbons, planned insightful workshops, and addressed various important details to ensure a seamless and impactful conference.

Aside from JJM, the Recruitment and Retention Council meeting was a key focus this month. As director, we brainstormed innovative strategies for both recruiting new FBLA members and retaining existing ones. As part of our plan, we crafted a compelling social media post introducing the committee’s goals and objectives. Work is underway to execute additional initiatives to bolster FBLA’s presence.

And finally, as we gear up for the Spring District Meeting (SDM), stay tuned for updates regarding workshop presenters, keynote speakers, and other crucial details. We are very hopeful about this event’s success and I cannot wait to see you all there!

Thank you for your continued dedication and if you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to connect, please feel free to reach out to me at svp3s@fbla.org.
